Totally Toasted Tortilla Chips


Sometimes I run out of tortilla chips, but seldom do I run out of tortilla. And this is where the cooking begins…

By the way, here’s a little secret: homemade tortilla chips taste better anyway. Sure, it takes some work, but they are worth it. They are fresh, warm, crunchy, and so damn good. Alright, you know the deal – here’s a handful of ingredients and an easy recipe. 😉

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 medium/large tortillas
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

How To Make It:

  1. Layer two medium/large tortillas on top of each other.
  2. Cut them into four or more pieces (like cutting a pizza).
  3. Fry the tortilla chips over medium heat in olive oil for about 1 minute on each side, or until golden.

Let it cool for a couple of minutes before serving!
